Since we opened in 2005 we have been supporting British designers, many local to the shops, offering Customers a wide range of good quality jewellery, using the highest quality materials coupled with unique & on-off designs. Most importantly, though, we keep the prices right – why buy cheap, imported jewellery, when you can buy some of the most beautiful Freshwater Pearls, Semi-Precious Stones, hand-made Glass & Shell jewellery right on your doorstep!
Over time we have built up wonderful relationships with the designers and are pleased to announce that Gillingham (Dorset) based designer, Emily Harris, has agreed to supply us exclusively with her eye-catching & innovative jewellery under the brand-name of ‘For Moonfleet by Emily Harris’ - these pieces that are truly ‘one of a kind’ – so you can have no worries about meeting someone wearing the same jewellery as you – how special would that make you feel?!
We also display work by internationally renowned designers such as Michael Peckitt (Gloucestershire), Lora Leedham (Midlands) & Justin Duance (Cornwall), together with many other local & talented artists & designers.
Wedding & Bespoke Jewellery Making Service – we are also able to make jewellery to your requirements, offering a free design & colour matching service for when you need a specific design or colour. Just call in & tell us what you have in mind & let us work with you to create exactly what you wish for! We can offer complete bridal & bridesmaids sets, hand-made Tiaras using Freshwater Pearls and/or Swarovski Crystals & jewellery to match your colour theme. For men we have cufflinks made using Semi-Precious Stones & a wide selection of hand-made Pewter giftware from Edwin Blyde in Sheffield.
We are also able to offer a wedding ring making service choosing from either our current stock list or specially created around your design whilst considering all ranges of budgets from Silver through to 18ct White Gold.
Moonfleet Rocking Horse Stable – finally, we would like to invite you to come & see our wide selection of hand crafted, Victorian style, solid walnut rocking horses. Working directly with our locally based craftsman, we have got a healthy stock of stunning hand made horses to choose from, with the `childsafe`, approved “fixed frame” bases being made from Walnut, Mahogany, and Teak.
Whilst usually any decent quality rocker will cost over £1200, at Moonfleet, prices start from far less, and our most auspicious piece, standing 5ft high and weighing in at over 45 kilos, is only £800 & the price includes local delivery in our charming miniature horse box - a real winner with the little ones when it turns up outside as a surprise… Moonfleet - keeping the prices, the choice and the quality…in the right order..!
